Earlier this year I had the most lovely getaway with some of the coolest photography ladies in the biz. Not only did we stay in a beautiful coastal home, but we also collaborated with some local artists and models (okay, they're not models, they're actually real people who are just so damn sexy), and during sunset we created some magic.
This styled shoot felt like an absolute dream! A huge thank you to all the amazingly talented ladies who helped bring it to life.
Creative Director // Caroline Marie Griffin for Atelier Cornelia
Floral Design + Tablescape // Judith M. Edwards for Floral Culture
MUA + Wardrobe Stylist // Patty Harding for Survival of the Prettiest
Hair // Kelsie Britton with New Vintage Beauty Lounge
I'm still in awe of the dark, wintery tablescape I photographed last month for a few talented Portland creatives. The theme and colors perfectly suit this time of year during colder weather and shorter days.
A huge thank you to Andrea Melnychenko for letting us transform her already beautiful space.

Floral design and collaborative styling: Judith Edwards Design
Hair + Makeup: Kassandra Sommerville
Vintage Dresses: Coral Vintage
This series of photographs comes from a collaborative shoot at The Ginger Suite, an adorable salon owned and operated by the talented Kassandra Sommerville. We also joined forces with Judith Edwards who designed the floral arrangements, and Coral Vintage who allowed us to use her dresses.
You can check out another styled shoot that Judith, Kassandra and I collaborated on here.
This gorgeous photo shoot was a creative collaboration between myself, Judith Edwards, a floral designer/party stylist extraordinaire, and the incredibly talented Kassandra Sommerville of The Ginger Suite Salon. It took months of planning and had tons of DIY details (check out those ombre dyed curtains and napkins!). Judith described her vision for the event perfectly...
The vibe will be nostalgic and whimsical, as though the six of us woke up from a lovely night of beauty sleep and haven't a care in the world, and thus are content to lounge in our luxurious nightgowns all the livelong day.
Honestly, that is precisely what the day felt like.
If you would like to get a sense of how much hard work and care went into this event, check out the Pinterest board Judith and I created while we were in the planning stage. Also, a huge thanks to the lovely ladies who modeled for the event.
Each time I photograph Judith Edwards designs it is such a delightful experience. Her work is always beautiful and romantic—all things one can hope to find in a floral arrangement. Next week we will be taking a break as we gear up for a flirty Valentine's Day brunch photo shoot that we've been planning for months.
This week Judith added a gorgeous bouquet to her growing repertoire of floral designs. I adore the delicate lace tied around the stems.
Capturing Judith Edwards' floral designs each week has been a delight, and her newest arrangement didn't fail to impress. Check out our first and second week collaborating together to understand just how talented this lady is.
